August 26 is National Dog Day, so come on out and celebrate your four-legged best friend while helping Second Chance Pet Adoptions raise money for homeless animals!
Join us from 3:00 to 5:00 at Bombshell Beer Company (North Carolina’s only 100% female-owned brewery!) in Holly Springs. Bring your friends and enjoy great brews for a great cause (Bombshell will donate 10% of all sales from noon to 6pm); grab lunch, dinner, and dessert from the BBQ Proper truck (5% of the proceeds are donated to our animals); and visit with some of our adoptable animals!
SPECIAL TREAT:
At 4:00, Bombshell is offering a tour with samples from the tanks so you can learn not just how beer is made, but also taste it throughout the fermentation process! At just $5 per person, this will be an excellent experience! Second Chance will have dog-loving volunteers on-hand to pup-sit while you tour, but hurry and sign up on our website, as space is limited to the first 20 people! At the end of the tour, we’ll randomly select one winner each of a Second Chance bottle opener (made by Glover Corporation), Second Chance 30th anniversary t-shirt, and Second Chance 30th anniversary coffee mug, so sign up now before it’s too late!
