ABOUT FREEDOM RIDE RESCUE:
We are a volunteer-led and foster-based rescue that gives dogs freedom rides from overcrowded, high-kill shelters all across the state to safe and supportive foster homes across the Triangle until they are adopted. Volunteers handle all the paperwork, transport, care, logistics, and so on. Fosters review applications, arrange meet and greets with potential adopters, and choose the best home for the dog based on their time together. Every aspect of the process has the best interest of the dog in mind. Since Freedom Ride Rescue was started, it has given freedom rides to over 3,100 dogs.
